Los Angeles Haunt Calendar

Welcome to the Los Angeles Haunt Calendar. This is a list of all the haunted houses, immersive theater, escape rooms, and other spooky and creepy things we can find. If you’d like your dates added, please email us!

For a printable version, please use the “Agenda View” by clicking the “Month” drop down on the right of the calendar or by clicking HERE. After this is done, you’ll see a printer icon. Click that and print away!

Want to hit more than one haunt in one night? Want to see how far away something is from you? The Los Angeles Haunt Map is a good way to see what events are in the area. It should make your planning a bit easier using this. I’ll be updating this as new dates get added to the calendar.

Drunken Devil’s “Bloody Gras”
Feb 25 @ 8:00 pm

Debauchery and decadence reign supreme as the Drunken Devil cordially invites you to a Mardi Gras celebration you won’t soon forget: Bloody Gras.

Doors open at 8pm. Upon entry, pass through a seedy bayou and into a dark and booze-soaked jazz club, in the throes of a debauched Mardi Gras celebration. Let the good times roll at our open bar, featuring modern twists on classic New Orleans cocktails, beer, and wine.

Be amazed by a series of strolling acts from a variety of talents, including Drunken Devil alum, magician Micah Cover (The Magic Castle), and, straight from the dark streets of Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, Scott Michael, Whodini Driftwood, and Twirly the Clown, performing a menagerie of shock magic, sideshow gags, and sword swallowing, to terrify and delight.

At 9pm, a live Dixieland Band takes the stage, creating an atmosphere of revelry as you are invited to dance the night away. Between sets, enjoy tantalizing burlesque by resident performer Scarlette Fox, Drunken Devil alum Madeline Sinclaire (Bang Boom Bash), and Jessabelle Thunder (Monday Night Tease!)

At 11pm, in traditional Drunken Devil fashion, the lights of the stage are replaced by the flickering glimmer of a mirror ball, as DJ Stacy Christine (Shits & Giggles, Bears in Space) provides demonic disco tunes to close the evening.

Be forewarned, mortals; it is the Devil’s party, and dark mischief is afoot. Rumor has it that the spirit of the Axeman of New Orleans, a deranged, axe-wielding maniac thought to be a myth, will be descending upon the celebration. Choose to partake in a totally new, immersive storyline, as you must find a way to banish his evil spirit through a series of puzzles and, perhaps, a bit of black magic.

Dress to Impress. Attire should reflect the hedonism and debauchery of Mardi Gras and 1920’s jazz clubs.

Tickets are $75 and are all-inclusive. Tickets to Drunken Devil events are highly limited and previously have sold out. 21+, no exceptions.

Drunken Devil Presents: “To Live and Di(n)e in LA” @ Think Tank Gallery
Sep 21 @ 7:00 pm

To Live and Di(n)e in LA is an intimate, 45-person supper club, where guests will sit down for dinner with the ghosts of the most infamous figures in Los Angeles’ true crime history, as they navigate the city’s sordid past through cuisine, cocktails, and cabaret-type performances. This special event will be part of Think Tank Gallery’s latest art show, Drinkin’, Smokin’, and West Coastin’ – billed as a “group love/hate letter to the city,” with a creative take by local event producers each night.

In To Live and Di(n)e in LA, guests will sit down for dinner with the dead, as they come face-to-face with Elizabeth Short, better known as the Black Dahlia; Harvey Glatman, infamously nicknamed the “Glamour Girl Slayer” for his harrowing methods of killing aspiring young models in the late 1950’s; Susan Atkins, one of the most prominent members of the Manson Family (although Charles will not appear, his ominous presence will be noticeable throughout the event); and Richard Ramirez, also known as the “Night Stalker,” who terrorized suburban Los Angeles for years.

The menu will be created by Felix Barron, executive chef of KTCHNLA. Each course will be based off of a different figure and different era, with thematically appropriate cocktails paired to each dish. In between courses, guests will experience dark burlesque, performance art and more that will help guide the the story.

To Live and Di(n)e in LA will take place at Think Tank Gallery, 939 S Maple Ave, Los Angeles, 90014, on Thursday, September 21, 2017. The event begins with a cocktail hour at 7:00pm. Tickets are $165.00 and include the four-course meal, cocktails, and performances. Only 45 tickets are available. 21+.
