Located in San Diego’s world famous Balboa Park, The Haunted Trail is a stroll through the park you will never forget. Enter the mile long Trail through the twisted grove of pines and gnarled oaks. Visitors watch your back, you’ll never know which way the terror will hit you.
This year, The Haunted Trail is CONJURING up STRANGER THINGS so terrifying that you may get a KRAMPUS as you scramble to escape the GAME A THRONES. Run the gauntlet with horror icons Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, The Ring Girl, The Exorcist and Annabelle. Press through the crowd of Freddies inhabiting the Ghoul Bus and oh yes, don’t think we forgot about the saws. Prepare yourself for the terror of the chainsaw wielding voodoo masters.
True to form, the Haunted Trail is not for children under 10 or the faint of heart. Experience an outdoor terror that is simply too big to house indoors.
Before you are sent through the Trail, you will have to find your way out of a maze that is so disturbing it can only be described as, “The eXperiment”. Before you are sent through the Trail, you will have to find your way out of a maze that is so disturbing it can only be described as, “The eXperiment”. Q: HOW DO I CHOOSE WHAT PATH I WANT TO VENTURE DOWN?
A: Once inside the attraction, the spirits will choose a path for you. (You DO NOT choose your path when purchasing tickets). If you are adamant about traveling down a specific path or have already been down a certain dimension and want to experience another, then once inside you will politely ask the spirits to allow you to enter another realm.
Q: IF I GET TOO SCARED CAN I LEAVE?
A: The moment you feel as though you want to leave, please locate an usher or cast member and ask them to escort you to the nearest exit.
Q: IF I GET TOO SCARED & LEAVE EARLY, CAN YOU PLEASE REFUND ME?
A: Unfortunately, there are no refunds. All sales final.

Presented by Screenshot Productions, (creators of Fear is What We Learned Here) The Rope is a highly interactive and immersive horror experience taking you through a dark fantastical world in which each step, each response, and each decision you make influences the world around you. You will be taken to a strange land, through the darkest moments of waking life, and subject to a variety of obstacles and interactions to challenge your sanity.
The experience will take place at 939 Maple Ave. in Los Angeles. Please arrive to this address no later than 15 minutes prior to your ticketed time slot.
Please note the following before embarking on this journey:
You must be 18 years old or over to attend
You will be required to sign a waiver before entering
You will be unaccompanied and alone
You may be subject to the following: fog, complete darkness, tight spaces, crawling, contact with water, strong odors, and physical contact
If at any time you wish for your journey to end, simply clap your hands together twice and you will immediately be transported back to this earthly realm
